Based in southeast Hampshire, I am a qualified youth worker, and a specialist in youth participation, who passionately believes that young people’s voices should be built into services that are delivered for them.
I have;
- Set up district and county wide youth councils
- Set up a Strategic Youth Independent Advisory group for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
- Run a Youth Commission for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
- Supported members of the UK Youth Parliament
- Run youth MP elections
- Delivered youth conferences
- Worked with services to ensure wishes and feelings of young people are embedded in structures, process and practice
- Developed and delivered youth led campaigns and peer led initiatives
- Worked collaboratively with young people
- Supported organisations to involve children and young people.
